Farmer's Pick Buffet - Bettendorf

We recently stayed at the hotel and decided to try the buffet for lunch on Saturday. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The only highlight was the dessert. The fried rice was greasy and overcooked, and they ran out of food. The macaroni and cheese was served cold. We thought it might have been a one-off since we arrived later in the service, so we opted to give the Sunday brunch a shot, hoping that the higher price would mean better quality. I was mistaken. The carved turkey was cold, and the carved ham was not only cold but also overly salty. The gravy for the biscuits was chunky, and the hash browns reminded us of the fried rice from the previous day: dry and greasy. The sliced sirloin was cold and inedible; we had to spit it out. The omelette station and the dessert were the only redeeming aspects of the meal. I was very surprised there were no pancakes or waffles offered, especially since it's a breakfast buffet. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience given the amount of money we paid.

I visited for the endless seafood night on Friday, and while the service was pleasant, the food left much to be desired. The seafood was cold, dry, and lacking in flavor. The oysters came with a thick layer of topping, and I wish they would offer them without it, as shown in the photos at the entrance. The seafood dish mainly consisted of shrimp mixed with a type of noodle and sauce. Both the chicken and cod, along with the fried rice, were exceedingly dry. The dessert selection was impressive, but many of the options were overly sweet.

The prices at this restaurant are way too high for the quality and variety of food offered. Most of the hot dishes were only lukewarm, and I doubt they would pass a health inspection regarding temperature. The only item that was served hot was the turkey corndogs. The Asian dishes were quite disappointing, and the meatballs had an unappetizing texture. The prime rib was barely warm and not particularly tasty. On a positive note, the cod was good. The salad was acceptable, but once again, the selection was lacking. On the bright side, the staff were friendly.

The food was awful, my youngest daughter and I both ended up getting sick. The waitress was kind and the drinks were good we had 2 lemonades, a water and cranberry juice. I would never reccomand this place is over priced for the food quality. We used to go there a lot when it was up stairs the food was amazing then! Definitely gone down hill! Also the management didn?t seem to care that my daughter and aunt got sick! Bad management and food!???

We love the Buffet!!! lunch an supper was very tasty. Didn't really cared for the breakfast buffet thought that was really short on food and food was cold .staff was slow had the attitude of could care less. But wow if we could afford to go all the time to eat lunch and supper we sure would. Absolutely delicious food. We tell everyone we know to go eat there . 5 stars to you. Great job!!!!
