The Sterling - Bethpage

The bill that our manager was amazing, the mistakes made the sterling. first, the cake was completely wrong, I paid extra money for the cake and it was wrong! the cocktail was wrong i was suupose to get lox instead of giving me antipasto, no high chair if desired. I needed kosher meals was said that they were not available until two weeks before the event. if they have arranged me as well as possible, it's not just that. they have not followed any of the changes I have made! the house dj did not give the party fallen out and except a few accusations was brilliant music. decor was in front of location, but that was it! bill and I spent the biggest part of the time correcting errors on management. we never have a little time!

The Sterling has turned our dreams into reality! All we had to do was ask, and they made it happen. I am incredibly grateful to the entire staff who ensured we felt at ease throughout the planning process leading up to our event. A special shout-out to Pooja, who went above and beyond to make every aspect of our dream wedding come true. Planning such a significant occasion can be quite stressful, but the Sterling made it a breeze. They assisted us with finding decorations, DJs, photography, and cake. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The staff was rude and disorganized. I witnessed them harassing a guest during their peak season due to miscalculated bills they had missed. They threatened to seat and disrupt guests due to their own mistakes. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting, and the facilities were poorly maintained. Stay away from this place if you value good service and cleanliness.

OVERALL DISAPPOINTED.POOR MANAGEMENT.Held an event recently and paid for top shelf liquor and alcohol for my guests. The day of the event we found out that the sterling top shelf means BOTTOM shelf and that we would have to pay $8 more per person to get their premium!! We bought individual bottles for tables at 3x the price to serve my family members. The Bartender was very slow on serving my guests. The chef's choice of passing hot hor d'oeuvres were not fresh they were frozen. We were also told that the cold display would be replenished throughout the night and it was not; and not as great as it sounded. Guests complained about no hot water to wash their hands in the restroom. The party was to end at 10:00 pm and the manager was referencing to The DJ to stop the music in the middle of a dance by tapping his watch at 10:00 pm and demanding to stop the music, the DJ did not and instead played till the end of the song which was only 2 minutes!! Before the song ended the manager turned on all the lights in the hall. I have held several events and have never experienced any of this kind of disappointment.It was a beautiful celebration with my family and friends but complete disappointment of where it was held. I had never attended nor held an event at the Sterling before my event and will NEVER go back!! NO recommendation from us!!

The venue itself was in a terrible state; it was unclean and inconvenient, with a kitchen situation that was even worse. The bathrooms were unacceptable. I had 400 guests, and they all shared my sentiment about the poor service. There were hidden fees that we weren't informed about, and despite paying for everything, we received very little in return. The staff seemed completely disorganized and unaware of their responsibilities, leading to some of my guests going hungry because they shut down food service before the event ended. If you're looking for a clean venue with smooth event management and friendly staff, I strongly advise against booking here. This place has been nothing but a nightmare for me, and I truly hope they face the consequences of their dishonesty and poor service. They deserve the bad reviews they receive, and I can only hope their business suffers as a result. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!
