Ruby Cafe - Bethlehem

Since removing their seitan items from the menu, this restaurant has lost its unique appeal and now just feels like any other average Chinese food spot. The food quality hasn't necessarily declined, but the absence of their standout dish is definitely noticeable. The service is for takeout only and the average price per person for dinner ranges from $10 to $20.

Since relocating to Bethlehem, I made it my goal to discover a high-quality Chinese takeout restaurant. Ruby Cafe has exceeded my expectations. It is without a doubt the cleanest and most delicious option in Bethlehem. The only drawback is that they do not offer delivery, but the drive is always worth it. Service: Takeout Meal type: Dinner.

They still aren't allowing anyone to eat in, so you must have your order as pick up. The food was just okay. I struggle to find Chinese food I like. I prefer my sesame chicken( general tso) to be a bit crispy with sauce. It was nothing but mush. I tried putting it in my air fryer, but that overcooked it. The vegetable lo mein didn't have very many veggies at all. Might as well have gotten plain lo mein. The vegetable rolls were really good. I did enjoy those!

This restaurant is a great spot for takeout. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with four meals available for under $30. The General Tao's tofu and egg foo young are particularly tasty vegetarian options. Service is quick and friendly. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
