Spanish Diner - Bethesda

We had a wonderful lunch the food and service was phenomenal and there were perfect seats in the open.

Friendly service and ambiance. Most of the food was tasty and well presented. Two of our party really liked our ordered food but the person who had the potato chip omelette was disappointed. The only real problem was the hostess trying to seat us at the kitchen entrance despite 90% of the dining room being empty. I can’t imagine why she would do that. It had to be the worst table in the place.

Service was terrible. Spanish Diner has been hit or miss. The food tasted fresh this time but the service was bad. We had to ask for napkins, silverware and plates. When the flan arrived, we didn’t have a way to eat it. The food runner, who was very nice, came back with spoons but gave us serving spoons to eat our dessert. I’m not rushing back there.
