California Pizza Kitchen - Bethesda

Very nice experience with the CPK. We went to a Sunday afternoon and got a table right away. Our water Nel was good and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food. They have many gluten-free options that were nice, there is even a little stick that comes to the food, suggesting it was gluten-free. The menu was pretty good, I just put the pizza. It wasn't the best pizza I ever had, but it was pretty good.

Love this place! Never disappoint with high quality pizza, salads and desserts! Excellent customer service by all employees.

I've never been here before. I was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted at the front. The hostess went out of her way to give us a stand we wanted. Unfortunately, when I sat on the stand, I almost met my chin on the table. This location definitely needs a facelift. California, you are recognized as fluffy and like to show. What happened to you? Let's talk about food and service. The spicy Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer was excellent. I had no idea they ate cauliflowers during the Tang Dynasty. The explosive taste gave me a heavenly rollercoaster ride. For our main course we ordered the Shrimp Scampi Zucchini Pasta and the California Cobb Salad. Both were delicious. The Shrimp Scampi had the right amount of garlic with perfectly embellished zucchini and pasta. Wow! To our surprise, CPK is promoting “Take and Bake Pizzas”. With each Dine-in order, you can buy each of their pizzas to go home and bake if you want for just $5. We tried our take and Bake pizzas and they were fantastic. Our waiter, Thinh, was wonderful. He knew the menu, was attentive and was very polite. What a pleasure he was. CPK can not be the same cow for so many years. With more people who start dining, you might want to think about giving yourself a fresh look. You will be surprised how much your diners will appreciate it. A fresh, crisp look after it was closed this last year. You have a great staff and food. As your former governor said, "I will be back. ‘
