Black's Kitchen - Bethesda

The service was truly excellent and the food was perfectly decent, but uninspired. This is our second visit to this restaurant and it simply does not compare to its sister restaurant, BlackSalt in DC's Palisades. The restaurant itself is somewhat cavernous but benefits significantly from being carpeted with ceiling sound baffling you really can have a conversation here! The outside dining area is quite charming, although we were seated inside. Service was its strongpoint food arrived quickly, the servers were all friendly and solicitous and food was delivered very quickly.

Our 4 year olds cheeseburger came out medium rare. Both steaks were not seasoned and were significantly overpriced. The oysters were fantastic.

This was our first time eating here the food was delicious and service was excellent. The items with gluten were clearly marked making it easy to order. We had a great time and will definitely eat here again.

THE PORK CHOP IS ALWAYS OUTSTANDING!! We always enjoy our meals here.

This is one of our family's Bethesda go-tos when we feel like treating ourselves. The food is very high quality. The oysters are amazing. I also had a pan seared salmon which was delicious. Great place to go for a date night or celebration dinner with family or friends.
