The venue itself is as cool as it seems great views of the ocean (and bridge), cool outdoor activities live music in the adjoining bar. But WOW was the food a miss completely flavorless. I had a lemon crush which tasted like water (not in a 'ooh, I can hardly tell there 's alcohol in here! ' good way, but in a completely watered down way), and both of our entrees had no flavor (the Sunset Sammy and Mojo Shrimp Wrap). The menu sounded amazing, but the delivery was way off the mark. Neither of us could finish our meals, and left with most of our food still on the plate to go grab a second dinner somewhere else. The one positive is that the queso app *did* have flavor, and was good. And we went after six, so they weren 't collecting parking fees. I 'm not sure if the food has always been like this, or if it 's a victim of supply chain issues. But I can 't in good faith recommend this restaurant for dinner, and we will not be returning. That said, if you 're just looking for drinks with a cool view, this is a special location and I 'm sure you 'd get what you 're looking for.
Decent. Good trip. Make sure you get shade for the table. Nachos lacking. Grilled fish tacos were meh. The deep fried were good. Waitress very nice.
Husband and I did a day trip and loved this place. It is at the foot of the Indian River Inlet and part of the Delaware Seashore State Park. So yes, you pay to enter and park just like you would at the OC Inlet etc. we had appetizers and drinks upstairs at the bar. The view is phenomenal! Then we went down the wooden walkway to the beach and enjoyed people watching. The beach club has a concession stand to buy food and sodas, etc to take out on the beach if you wish. We enjoyed watching the boats going in and out of the Inlet and saw several dolphins by the stone jetty. We will definitely be back.
We came to spend a day at the park, not realizing there was this great bar here. We sat at the bar overlooking the ocean, enjoying some crushes. The bartenders were super-friendly and very busy squeezing all that fruit for the drinks. Drinks were great, and the views...the views! I've never seen a bar in a State Park before. Enjoyed very much.
This was our first time here. We stopped here for lunch. Since this is a Delaware state park with a beach, as an out of state resident from New Jersey I had to pay the $10 parking fee to eat at this restaurant. Without a reservation, we were seated at a nice table overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The bar is in the center of the deck under a big yellow tent enclosure. I started with their orange crush summer libation with rocktown orange vodka, triple sec, fresh squeezed OJ and sprite for $10. I also enjoyed my seared sesame ahi tuna tacos for $15.95. The tuna was properly cooked ahi style. Hannah served our table very well. My total bill was $58 less gratuities. We agreed we will continue to return here for some more great casual food and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
