El Mezcal Mexican - Bethalto

I’m not sure if they we’re having an off day or what but I tried this restaurant today the service was terrible and the food came out cold after me and my spouse waited about 40 minutes for our food. I’ve tried quite a few Mexican restaurants but I have to say I had the very worst experience here.

Got a 2 go order. Enchalada especial. Asked for an xtra beef instead of the one chicken.got ripped off for addons and to go xtras. Never go back

My stomach hurt for hours after eating here,and I wasn't impressed with the food at all and I love Mexican food usually!

I had the taco salat fajita. it was very delicious. the tortilla dish was nice and crisp, and the chicken was boiled right. I would recommend the green salsa, as the regular salsa is very bland.

The owner just updated the restaurant it looks good.
