Frankie's Fellini Cafe - Berwyn

Frankie's is our go-to for Italian. Food is always fresh and hot. Service is family friendly. Best bruschetta....period. Some may not like the tight seating but it has not been a problem for us. It's BYOB so that's a plus. Not inexpensive but the quality is worth it....and we typically have take-home given the generous portions.

Fantastic! Loved the special salad (watermelon arugula cucumber). I had the eggplant parm and my husband had the veal parm. Generous portions and great red sauce. Our waitress was super efficient and friendly.

As always the food was delicious! Nice portion sizes and a perfect level of spices and herbs. Sprinkle in a nice BYOB wine and great conversation for the perfect evening with family and friends.

We had an excellent meal, as always! The chicken cacciatore was delicious! The seafood pasta was loaded with mussels, clams, squid and shrimp in a savory aioli sauce. Both dishes were great! We took home an order of cannolis to share later. We love the intimate neighborhood feel and are so glad this gem is nearby.

As you can see by my scores, this place is a real mixed bag. The food is excellent and a terrific value. The place is too small, very cramped and borders on uncomfortable. Parking, by the way, is terrible. The service was very good. It, too, is affected by the cramped quarters. I wish this place would relocate because the food quality and value is so good.
