Unfortunately, my steak was dry and overcooked, but my wife enjoyed her poutine. I was able to communicate with the hostess in my limited French without any issues, however our server quickly switched to English and did not seem very enthusiastic. I noticed the manager being stern with a kitchen employee who looked stressed, but he was much friendlier when thanking us as we left. My main complaint is that the food is overpriced for the quality. Overall, this restaurant is a typical full-service chain establishment found along highways, comparable to Ryan's or Golden Corral in the United States, but without a buffet option.
Very long wait for food, no brochettes, no sour cream for potato, mashed potatoes were awful, .would not go back again.
The service is very good. it improved 200% from a few yars ago. After a bad experience we did not go back till now. The decor and ambiance are rather cold. We ate a poutine and it was a not to renew experience. The sauce was agressive to the taste. It was not hot as it should be.
I stopped twice to eat at this restaurant during the week day, for lunch. the place is very convenient for me, on the road. The problem is that nobody comes to welcome you or offer you a table to sit. They just let you waiting there until you loose patience...I never seen that at any other ST-Hubert restaurant.
Business lunch, in a resto surprisingly packed for such a small town on a Thursday. Service was polite but nothing more. portions, as always, were tiny for the price and soup kinda lukewarm. Chicken tenders and fries were surprisingly yummy however, and for that town, I think this place is a good, safe choice - hence the 4 stars ✨.
