Les Marmottes - Bernex

I had given 4 stars but changed to 5 after my visit today. The service was excellent and at the table on the terrace. Just one thing, the sun goes down around 14h it does get chilly outside.

We turned up today for a walk in the beautiful mountains (4 adults, 6 children) and we hoped to grab a snack and some drinks at Les Marmottes. Sitting ourselves down at a table outside, my friend began to clear the table so we didn't have other peoples leftovers around us, that was seemingly our first offence. Then when I walked in to ask for a menu, a rude little man told me to basically, go away and relax and he will bring menus soon (not in a friendly way). That was probably offence number two. After some words were exchanged, all 10 of us upped and left and decided to go elsewhere. Strange, they lost a few hundred Euro's of business due to rudeness, maybe they are very wealthy.

Soup and risotto not to be missed and melted as a star of the table. The staff is very careful. plaid and baby chair available. very frequented between and preferably go after to avoid waiting.

Beautiful sunny terrace, beautiful team and good fondue. one of the must-sees of the week at bernex what. Pay no table service during school holidays unless you melt, it works in the cafeteria.
