The Claremont Tavern - BERNARDSVILLE

Been here a few times always consistent high quality food drinks and service. Not a single complaint besides it is not the easiest to park near. The chicken sausage soup is a must have. You will be shocked at how much meat is in it. Everything else we have ever had has been great as well. If you are considering stopping here, do it. Kid-friendliness: Loud enough to have them there. Highchairs and kids menu available. Build your own pizza option cool for the kids.

Waited 1:00 for our entrees. Waiter served patrons that were seated after us several times. Then meals for my party of 5 were finally brought out piece meal.

What a gem!! The Claremont burger was tasty with those amazing onion rings with beers and fresh salads. It was an excellent value for the price, gourmet style. Great service. Cozy casual spot. Support local ma and pa restaurants. Highly Recommend.

Only come here if you’ve given up on life. A bunch of sad day drunks, and if you order food you’ll have no interest in it by the time it comes.My burger took over an hour, and no acknowledgment that it was late or there was an issue, despite asking multiple times. I wasJust unbelievably bad service.

The burgers are huge. It's a nice pub like setting in a beautiful part of NJ.
