Loud place with fun and friendly staff. It’s pretend Mexican food nothing authentic, but typical franchise stuff you’d expect from US franchise restaurants. Nonetheless, drink the margaritas and enjoy there ambience of late night loud dining and drinking. Eat free on your birthday
Don't ever eat here. The food is terrible, the service is terrible, and the everything else is terrible. I can't wait to not ever go to this place again. When I have an opportunity to not go here, I'm going to take it.
Okay Mexican food. I ordered the sweet potato and avo tacos and some tortilla chips so I could try the proffered table salsas. The tacos had exactly the ingredients advertised and thus were quite bland. The salsas were all watery, none were appetizing, and only one was even mildly spicy. On the plus side, none of the food was very greasy, although the lack of greasiness could be attributed to the ingredients composing each dish. I do not think Desperado has cracked the formula for good Mexican food.
Was told Mayonnaise belongs in McDonald when I asked for some. Then I was brought microwaved food. Interesting. Also, why the chicken strips in my wrap were breaded and deep fried but still soggy is beyond me. In short: Neither the service nor the food were any good or recommendable, won't go again.
