Brasserie 11 - Bern

Stopped for a quick bite with my hubby, such a treat! Offers great fresh food and wonderful regional specialities. Had the white asparagus soup which was truly outstanding. Very cozy, both indoor and outdoor seating.

I was during lunch time in the Brasserie11. The lunch menu was simple consisting of 3 day menus and some other individual starters and main course. The food was average, the location is ok but the service is incredibly slow! Even without a full restaurant!...I'd rather not experience it when it is packed!

The worst suppe without taste and sweet salad full of fat I've ever eaten. my first and last visit.

I think the owners of the restaurants change, in any case the cook did. Apart from feeding of us frozen vegetables and badly made eating (it was so bad, I actually asked if it is justified to pay for them) the tartaric acid that was served was from expired. oiled meat, already blue and purple.

I and my teen daughters had one night at our dinner and I'm so glad we did. cheap, but worth every franc we had angus beef burger with aspragel, speck and cheese with sweet kartoffelfries and wienerschnitzel with fritten. yummy
