„ursprung“ - Berlin

We went to Urspung for dinner on a Thursday night and even though we were the only ones there it didn't bother us, because the atmosphere is so relaxing, sitting next to this enormous wall (13 meters tall) overgrown with thousands of tropical plants and the sound of a waterfall that comes down the plants into a little pond where some fish are swimming. This place really is one of a kind, in the best way possible. The very friendly waitress explained to us that it's mostly busy there during breakfast and lunch. We don't really understand why not in the evening, maybe because the kitchen closes at 21.00h, which is earlier than a lot of other restaurants? Either way, the food we had was delicious! Everything organic and made by hand, very fresh. The menu is not big, but with some really original dishes and desserts to choose from. Prices are reasonable and portions are big enough, so it's really good value for money! The wine we had was tasty too. I really think you can't go wrong here! I recommend this to everyone, you won't forget or regret it.

Wer einmal ins Dussmann Kulturkaufhaus kommt, wird am Ursprung nicht vorbeikommen können. Die Rückwand mit Pflanzen und Wasserfall bestückt, schafft eine traumhafte Atmosphäre zum Entspannen vom Großstadtgetummel. Das Essen ist bürgerlich und raffiniert kombiniert. Ob Frühstück, Mittag oder Kaffee und Kuchen - Das Ursprung Restaurant lädt zu jeder Tageszeit zum Verweilen ein.

Mitten in Berlin zwischen eilenden Geschäftsleuten und trubeligen Shopaholics gibt es hier einen Ort seinen Akku zwischen seinen Einkäufen und Erledigungen wieder aufzuladen. Hier bekommt man leckere Snacks gepaart mit freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Service zu einem tollen Preis. Die einzigartige Atmosphäre mit dem Hängegarten lässt jeden für ein paar Augenblicke den Trubel auf der Friedrichstraße und Umgebung vergessen und schafft somit eine Oase der Erholung. Gerne komme ich immer wieder - egal ob allein oder mit Freundinnen - zum quatschen & Kaffee trinken oder einfach um mein eben neu gekauftes Buch aus dem Kulturkaufhaus zu lesen. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert!

The title is program. Friendly service ,good variety of food and drinks. Breakfast until 11 am. For us a little bit to early. However the kitchen has to go on. We love the Birchler Muesli . It is a little bit to big, however sweet and good.Love the area and the "Rain Forrest Wall".

Ein wunderschönes Cafe im Kulturkaufhaus Dussmann.Mitten auf der Friedrichstraße kann man hier eintauchen und Ruhe tanken.
