Price performance ok, located at the top, but this is also close to the city, Maybe the radiators should be dedusted once, freshly prepared food with still pleasant waiting time, badly sees it with parking, price example from the grill with some vegetables 15.50 Euro Schnitzel Gorgonzola 13.80 Euro
In October 2014 we met the restaurant as a Spanish restaurant. We liked it. We returned in early November 2014. We came out of the bus, ran along the road – and stood in front of an Italian tavern for our surprise. We looked crazy. Yeah, it was the right street corner... On the sign above the entrance with the new name Taverna Passione it was now “Adamo Gino”, where before, under the Spanish name Por Que???, Adamo was listed alone. The large illuminated box where the menu of the Por Que was to be seen now offered the Italian dishes of the Taverna Passione. We decided to enter where we were. Inside we were kindly greeted by Adamo, who we knew from our first visit to Por Que? Apparently he turned the Spanish into an Italian restaurant in a few weeks. He led us to the back of the restaurant where some small tables stood. We took place and immediately received the cards. There is nothing more from the former Spanish offer, not even a small “Spanish corner”. There was pasta, pizza from the stone oven, fish, meat. Some appetizers, soups and salads. The prices were on average, suitable for the Berlin area. Drinks have the usual selection of beer, some open wines, spirits, soft drinks and coffee specialities. The Montepulciano I ordered was a dry red wine, delicious. We ordered the mixed appetizer board we shared. Then there was Pasta: Penne al Forno with ham and fresh mushrooms in tomato sauce for my companion, Tris di Forno with three noodles and minced meat sauce for me. As a first walk we received a greeting of the kitchen with two small, delicious mini pizzas with olives. Then came the extensive appetizer dish, which can easily share two people: equipped with parma ham, spicy salami and cheese, with some vegetables. A little later, the pasta dishes followed. As before, they wounded the appetizer plate. My minced sauce was nicely light and contained a lot of meat. The Penne al Forno from my companion contained the announced fresh champignons, only he missed the ham mentioned in the map. There is a lot to play in the kitchen. On the side tables well filled pizzas and tasty looking Rag steaks were served. After dinner we had a baggage. We ordered Grappa. The waiter brought a bottle of good grappa and asked if we wanted to take the house grappa or this special grappa he offered at a good price. We took the special Grappa I was allowed to pay before. He tasted very good. The Italian waiters were all friendly and accommodating. Adamo was the patron of the house. We recognized the facility, only recently renovated. The fanschals of various football clubs had disappeared, for which there were several pasta packages on the shelves. It seemed brighter than the first visit. There is a separate smoking room. The live music was received: the musician who experienced during his first visit appeared with his guitar and played a lot of acquaintance and some unknowns. The opening hours were changed: open daily from 12 am to 2 pm. All in a decent Italian restaurant. If we're in the area, we'll go back. Nevertheless, we missed the Spanish food. Por Que was converted???
