Taverna Amphipolis - Berlin

Proper Greek local, the owner greets and seats, she's super friendly and the women in the kitchen are making great food...it's a weekly treat for me to eat here....!!

Genuine traditional greek restaurant, freshly cooking and big portions. Nice warm atmosphere. This is what I needed after a cold rainy day far from home.

At the moment one of the favourite places to have dinner, been here around 7 times, always are happy: portions are too big, everything is simple, but very good prepared.Octopus on grill with pommes - is must try!Lamb is another must try :)I am sure whatever you choose you would not be dissapointed!

Portion sizes are good, you get plenty for your money. From looking at the restaurant, it looks like a pub but it is quite nice inside. Friendly staff, English wasn't the best and no English menu available. Food was good but not great

That was a really nice place with such a home atmosphere. I guess some greek family manage this restaurant and do it good!
