Tandoor House - Berlin

We walked past this restaurant on the way to our hotel on the day we arrived in Berlin. Since we had had a long journey and we were a bit tired, we decided to give Tandoor House a try for dinner the first evening as it was so close to the hotel. What an excellent decision! My friend and I have been to India several times and the quality of the dishes was a completely unexpected surprise! The dal makhani and bhindi masala were exceptional. Delicious mango lassi. Excellent prices. We went back for dinner on the last night in Berlin!

They make sure your meal will be as spicy as you want it,which is great. If you say nothing it'll be piquant for European tastes. Good selection and in particular the tandoori chicken is excellent. Indian beer on tap is very good indeed. Friendly and...happy place. On the opening page they say they look forward to your NEXT visit,which is nice. We were pleased we came. Good value
