It was crowded (good sign) but they managed to get us a table. I got the beef bibimbap and it was amazing. Many other people had the traditional BBQ, which also looked really good. The ambience of this place is pretty cool as well.
It is fairly small and busy inside and seating is on communal tables. There is a good selection of Korean and other asian dishes; including vegan options. The bowls for lunch were about 10-12 euros, not the cheapest option but portion size was good and food was tasty (but not as flavourful/spicy as I normally like)
We ate bibimbap and korean kimchi pancake. Very tasty, also cheap prices. We were surprised of how quick we received our food since the place was really crowded.
Made a reservation for two a couple of days ago. Apparently something went wrong and the reservation got cancelled without me knowing. The staff was very friendly and (luckily) they managed to make it work anyway. Kudos to them! The two of us both ate the beef bibimbap and it was soooooo good. Even though we didn't try the sushi ourselves, it looked very good too. Beer is a bit pricy compared to a lot of other places in friedrichshain, but definitely the place to go for bibimbap! Book a table in advance, because the place was fully booked when we arrived.
I stopped here at 4:30 for a very late lunch and stayed over an hour. Excellent service, English menu if needed. Plenty to offer - soups, spicy dishes, salads. I had spicy Squid, it was amazing. All meals are served with a selection of Korean Bancho - spicy chilis, cabbage and radish. A crisp glass of Riesling. All for 16 euro... As I left, I saw that nearly every table was reserved, on a Monday night, so BOOK ahead. 5 STARS
