Pizzeria Garda - Berlin

Very friendly staff who quickly served the very nice food. Pricing is good of generously glasses of windsurfing.

My husband and I had lunch here today. There were three very good set menus for lunch - all as to be expected for an Italian restaurant. I had bruschetta which was pretty good (although not the magic tomatoes that you get in Italy during the summer) but well delivered. we sat outside and it was easy and relaxing away from the busy areas of Berlin. We had a simple salad which was generous (although I think the salad dressing was rather dark and heavy) but the pizza was excellent as was the expresso afterwards. My husband enjoyed the ice cream too. It is certainly a great steady good value honest Italian - what you see is what you get so to speak. We tried only the basics and this review reflects that.

The service is definitely great. Enjoyed the interaction with the server. The food was also good. Someone who has lived in Berlin for a couple of years now picked this location for our meal!

Its the location, isn't it?we enjoyed a lunch menue and had good fun sitting outside.The Court of Heckmann Hoefe is wonderful, Galleries and small shops around.Pizza lacked a bit zest, its in a more pan-like plate, otherwise psta was great and all in all it was good.
