Pi Chi is my favorite Bubble Tea Spot in the Schlossstraßen area. The service is really friendly and helpful. They never got annoyed as I could not decided what to order and kept scanning the menu for hours and then after all sticked with my beloved Green Milk Tea with passion fruit Bubbles. The other day as I walked in and wanted to order my usual Bubble Tea, I saw that they started to offer Matcha Tea. As I love Matcha Tea, I ordered the Matcha Latte and it was really good. This was exactly what I needed and made my day after waiting 3 hours at a doctor appointment. I haven 't seen this in other Berlin Bubble Tea Bar 's yet so Pi Chi defo deserves the 5 star ranking!
I've made it my goal to try as many sit-down bubble tea shops as I can while I'm in Berlin, so here was another to add to the list! There was quite a wide selection of bubble tea, with prices on the cheaper end (S 2.20 euros, M 2.60 euros, and L 3 euros). I made the mistake of picking a large flavored tea, which was really too much for one person to drink and was also really more like juice. The pearls were okay, but nothing special. It struck me as quite average in quality, but I would give them another chance. Atmosphere-wise: pleasant, but not altogether cozy. They had lots of tables (read: good for eating lunch or working), Chinese oldies (modernized and much to my liking), but probably no internet (I searched on my phone for a WLAN network, but didn't find one). So, I'd give the atmosphere a 3 and bubble tea a 3, but the prices a 4. ...which means, 3 stars for now but I'm still up for another try.
