NORDSEE - Berlin

It's a franchise, but a very good franchise. This location is just off the main Berlin attraction (the DOM) and on a busy intersection. But don't let that keep you from trying their fish and other dishes. A box of breaded shrimp (15) for € 7.95 is a good deal. Scrod with a creamy mushroom sauce is my favorite. Nice touch that they (as all German restaurants) offer beer and wine to wash it all down.

I skipped lunch one day and was looking for something to hold off the hunger until I could get to dinner. For less than 5 euro I got the most amazing smoked salmon sandwich. The bread was soft and the fish was generously portioned. Great option!

I was looking for a snack but the staff was so unfriendly that we decided to buy a coke and move on. The restaurant was empty. Two tourists in front of us ordered some food and coffee. They were served a nespresso capsule and told they should make there own coffee inside. When the customer did not understand, the employee simply turned his head and waited for the customers to go away. He then turned to me and "kindly" said "what do you want?"

Not overly impressed Had take out herring sandwich which was smaller than expected but it tasted nice- the fish and chips wasn't good Surly service from takeaway counter

Though this is a large chain, the service and preparation are really quite good. And the quality of the seafood is excellent. You can't go wrong stopping here for lunch or dinner.
