This was a great lunch find! The waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was quiet. The bathrooms were clean. The food was flavorful. The prices were average..a euro or two more for their daily lunch specials than we pay at other Indian restaurant lunch specials in Mitte. You get salad, sugary naan, rice, and soup with your entree. It's a lot of food, but perfect for us. We will likely return again.
Wow, there are several Indian restaurants in Germany that are excellent, but this one is my favorite. They have excellent food, excellent service, and give you a free aperitif at the end of dinner! Take the m48 bus to the last stop at Busseallee and it's a 3 minute walk from there. I was feeling homesick for my Indian restaurant in New York City, and the wonderful people at Monsoon made me my favorite dish, Chana Gobi Malai, even though it's not on their menu. It was a bit of home in Berlin.
The Monsoon is a fair Indian restaurant in southwest Berlin. The meals are good and waiters are friendly. No place you wouldn't find anywhere else but okay.
