Lokal - Berlin

The menu has great options, most of which were on the lighter side. I got a potato soup and a salad with mashed peas -- both things I wouldn't have ordered elsewhere but I had seen great reviews and wanted to try something new. Was not disappointed! Will be going back.

We had some wonderful meals in Berlin, but the food here was the best. Crackers was a bit too much show, and the other ones we enjoyed were excellent, but not unusual. Lokal was in an unassuming neighborhood, the space and waitstaff were uninspired, but the food was creative, unusual, and very, very good. If you're a foodie, go here.

Local is an attractive restaurant in an attractive part of Berlin (Mitte). We sat outside in perfect weather, enjoying our food and the passing scene. Berlin ranges from grubby to yuppified; this area is definitely the latter. We had the wild boar and the lamb stew. Both were very good and we would recommend them. The service was a bit amateurish - to the point of being amusing at times. But all in all it was a very pleasant evening.

Lokal is a wonderful restaurant in the centre of Mitte. It is quite small and you need to book in advance. The food is delicious modern European and there's a great wine menu. The atmosphere is perfect: relaxed, nicely decorated with friendly and attentive staff (even when the place is packed). Highly recommend!

Found this great restaurant on Eater 38 Berlin. Our family got the broccoli soup, lamb appetizer, pork chop, beef steak, pasta, side salad and gratin. Everything was absolutely amazing. Super high quality and great service. Would love to eat here again!!!
