Fontana di Trevi - Berlin

הלכנו לשם ידיד ואני לארוחת ערב.. היה פשוט מגעיל! לא אכלתי בחיים שלי משהו יותר דוחה מזה.. הברוסקטה והפיצה היו בסדר לא יותר מזה אבל האנטיפסטי היה מגעיל בטירוף.גם השירות לא היה משהו

Mediocre food, a bit slow service. Pricing okay. Location on a busy street with a small outside terrace, not very attractive. Not really recommended.

Wir haben das Fontana di Trevi zufällig (wieder-) entdeckt und waren mit dem Besuch dort sehr zufrieden. Alles war sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich, und die Preise absolut in Ordnung. Da war ich nicht zum letzten Mal!

Maybe one doesn't go to Berlin to eat at an Italian restaurant, but make an exception! Fontana Di Trevi is tucked behind a green barrier on Leipziger Strasse, not more than 5 minutes from Checkpoint Charlie. Delicious authentic tasting fare. We thoroughly recommend Pizza Augusto and the Spaghetti Carbonara. If you still have room, the Cassata or a huge bowl of Zabaione will certainly top the meal off nicely. Fast, pleasant service and a lovely atmosphere. About 40 euros for two eating two courses, including beers.

Don't go here. Quite bad Italian food. We had 2 pasta dishes, and they were terrible. Overcooked and just bad. Couldn't taste the gorgonzola in the gorgonzola sauce (just tons of cream).1 star for the food, and 1 start for the waiters trying (too) hard to sound like Italians, which they obviously were NOT. They were nice though... ;-)
