Egger's Steakhaus - Berlin

3rd visit here in 2 years. Food is lovely. Steaks. Pork. Turkey and Ostrich on menu. I had Turkey escalopes in mushroom sauce. Very nice. Comes with self service salad and warsteiner beer. Will come again another year.

The food was allright, however we didn't get what we had ordered and the service was terrible. There was a cute dog.

Nice restaurant away from Berlin's center. Located near a subway station and the NH City West hotel. The food is ok and the service is good. The restaurant looks like it can use some renovation.

We stumbled on this restaurant when we just got off the metro and we decided to have dinner here. The personnel is very friendly. The food tastes good and the salad bar has a lot of things to choose from. We ordered the American tenderloin and the entrecôte. The meat was excellent! The place is not very big but it feels very cozy. The prices are a bit higher than other German restaurants we visited, but nothing extreme.

Ignore the decor and give this a try. We tried here after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. Furnishings are dated, but the food was excellent. Firstly salad buffet is unlimited, I liked the coleslaw. For the main I had the American Tenderloin, medium cooked. It was really tasty and soft. My friend had the Ribeye which he reported as being really nice. It was ordered as medium/well done but it was too **** and had it sent back to be well done. The owner spoke little english and menus are in German only, but the owner was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.
