Brasserie am Gendarmenmarkt - Berlin

Worst Bouillabaisse I've ever tasted. The seafood was rough, as if it had been frozen, de-thawed, and boiled for an hour. It was tasteless and over-cooked, and the broth tasted like vegetable broth from powder--it did not have the proper ingredients of bouillabaisse. I tasted no fennel, thyme, saffron, wine, or tomato and the color was wrong. The consistency was vegetable broth, not more stew-like. Truly awful. After tasting the shrimp and fish, which I think they bought frozen in a bag, I didn't eat any more.

The food was nice, however the appetite disappeared when a large protege of piece white hard plastic (!!!) appeared in my flamed tart (nice Berlin'ish pizza)Was compensated for the pizza, but nothing else. We quickly asked for the bill and left.A shame. The food tasted ok. But won't be coming back.Would have rated it 3, perhaps a small 4, had the plastic not made an appearance..Yikes..

Het restaurant ligt 50 meter van het beroemde plein en je kunt er gezellig buiten eten. Kaart is uitgebreid; Franse keuken. Eten is goed en bediening vriendelijk.

Veel pretenties die niet waar gemaakt worden. Risotto te nat en veel te weinig voor een hoofdgerecht. Roastbeef koud met vreemde bijlagen die ook niet warm waren. Wel stevig aan de prijs.

Il prezzo onestamente e' sostenuto , ma secondo me vale ampiamente quel che ti servono. Ho preso un piatto di ottima carne , cucinato alla perfezione e con un degno contorno.
