Przekaż informację zwrotnąWent with my girlfriend and two friends, it was recommended by a friend and although the food was ok the service was HORRIBLE! Plates were thrown in the table when served, dessert was brought and still the main dishes were not taken. To ask for an additional water you had to wait a few minutes or go and find a waiter to be served. Sincerely not worth your time, although the food was fine the service has been one of the worst I've received.
We were waiting to meet somebody on Brunnerstrasse around lunchtime as as he was late we decided to pop into this restaurant for lunch. We ordered crispy duck and tuna rice rolls - both were very good and served to us outdoors at the back of the restaurant. It was really peaceful there so we were able to relax in the sunshine. Prices were reasonable and service was with a smile.
The food was really super good. We had one main dished (that with salmon that was really good) and inside out a special roll a crunchy roll and few starters. Everything was amazing, fresh and well presented. The location is very nice as well as the staff. There also a lovely courtyard.
It´s a shame that I am taking my time to write this message but I believe that bad experiences, like the one I had last week in Aiko, can´t be passed in blank. I had my boyfriend in town for the week and we heard that Aiko was one of the best japanese restaurants in Berlin. Therefore, we decided to pay it a visit. Firstly, we were put on a table near the kitchen, which is fine, but I couldn´t believe my eyes. The bench where the servers were placing the dirty dishes remained full the whole time I was there, I had to face that bunch of unclean plates and glasses during my whole meal. The worst bit was that the staff was so loud getting in and out of the kitchen that I literally lost count on how many broken dishes I heard.By the time we decided to order, we had some doubts about the huge menu and the waitress was actually looking at her clock in a sign that we were taking way to long to decide and we had to hear the following: You may need some more time to decide.And she left.What?Food came and it was fine.At end we asked for the bill. Bill reached our table. We showed our credit card and another waiter simply said that that card was not acceped and left the table, without saying anything.We ended up paying and leaving as soon as we could as clearly we were not welcomed. It´s a shame that the front staff treats customers like that. Despite the hurry and the full room, they should have at least received a better training service and should manage their people´s skills and good manners in a better way.It was a total disappointment.
An okay place. Prices are very fair. Staff was polite, if not exactly smiling. The food was mostly quite bland.
