Good service, pizzas came fast but not too fast and the house red wine was inexpensive and a good match for our pizzas. We opted for...the simple Napoletana, the Marinara and the pizza of the day. A very relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger.
Italian pizzeria run by some young guys from Rome. The venue is inspired by the A.S. Roma football team. You can eat a good true-italian-style pizza in its most common types plus some variations into German taste. And, of course, beer! A place to go...if you are in Berlin, even if you are not Italian but like Italian kitchen. It's not big so it's better to reserve a table before going.
In a small street from the famous Stargaderstr. in Prenzlauerberg, on the side of the church where the peaceful revolution first started in Berlin, a small and very nice restaurant offers Italian food of good quality. If you listen to Berliner's recommending it, you might...expect more. But that doesn't mean it is not just very good food! It is! Like many things Berlin, A Magica makes food that is 7/10, for reasonable prices (say a pizza at 7-9€ and some pasta and salads too. Atmosphere is friendly, good if you are not searching for a fast meal. You can enjoy good coffee and a slow chat after the meal and under the trees on the sidewalk.
Upon arriving in Europe, my husband and I quickly learned how thin the standard pizza crust is on this side of the Atlantic. We love A Magica because the crust is not paper thin and has a very authentic Italian taste and vibe. I believe...the restaurant is Italian-family-owned. Quick service, good price, and rightfully crowded at times. Great place to get your pizza fix!
I love this pizzeria! I try many of them but this is still my favorite one! It's always full, reservation mandatory!
