Alex's Of Berkley

Alex 's is a Berkley staple. Always has super fast service. It has all the standard diner eats, but if you 're lucky, they 'll have the chicken pot pie on the specials for the night. Don 't pass it up. I kinda miss the overtly 90 's charm of its original configuration, but glad that they 've expanded to provide more tables. Breakfast is always on point. The skillets are a ridiculous value, and if you order an orange juice it doesn 't arrive in a shot glass like some of the more hip breakfast/brunch joints. Pepsi products on the fountain are a plus for me personally, but may deter others. Careful on Sunday mornings as the church crowd can get a little crazy.

Recently went here for breakfast, and ordered a ham and cheese omelet. It was one of the best omelets I've eaten, thanks mainly due to the very freshcand delicious ham. Service was excellent, too! This was my first time here, but I will be back!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, so about 30 years, and it’s still a wonderful family place to come to. The food is always good and what you expect it to be. The staff members are all so friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad wait staff experience. The menu is diverse which is nice.For the first time today I tired pancakes with chocolate chips and pecans and it was great. I don’t even like pancakes, in general, but I would recommend those. I also have always loved their chicken lemon rice soup.
