Way Station Brew - Berkeley

This oasis in the heart of downtown Berkeley is just my favorite café in the city. The food is always delicious, the portions are more than generous, and the coffee and the scones are no longer. The wonderful crew behind the counter completes a wonderful culinary experience. Very recommended

Open and welcoming room with good counter service. I had a house coffee and a scoone. Coffee was smooth, hot and tasteful. Scone... perfect! Warm out of the oven, flaky... like a good scones should be.

The scenarios here change life! So delicious — our favorite is the apricot porcan, followed by the blueberry, but as long as they are fresh from the oven, you cannot go wrong. The chai is house made, amazing, and my partner also loves the espresso here. Mimosas here are also well done! Breakfast sandwiches are also good!

The Way Station Brew is a must-visit for anyone in the Berkeley area. Begin your day with a freshly made scone and a rich cup of coffee. If you're in the mood for a substantial breakfast, they have plenty of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the Egg Sandwich Warren's Way, along with the Grilled Cheese filled with perfectly caramelized onions. Add some bacon, and you have the ultimate sandwich. On Friday evenings, live music creates a wonderful atmosphere in the square. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy some music and indulge in burgers on a Friday night. They offer microbrews, wine, and, of course, a wide variety of coffee.

The restaurant features a roomy indoor space and a lovely back patio. I like to come here to work remotely for a couple of hours when I can. The food is delicious, and I appreciate that you have the option to choose from coffee, tea, or wine.
