The Noodle, Thai - Berkeley

The name of this place sounds like a fast food chain, but it actually has a very nice menu and can offer a wide selection of Thai dishes. Plus super nice service. Try it!

Tasty non-westernised Thai food. Their pad krapow is especially good and uses the right kind of basil. The add ons are a bit pricy (3.50 for adding a fried egg), but the base portions are a decent size. And damn do they cook that fried egg just right.

This is the only Thai restaurant my partner and I eat at. Everywhere else in the East Bay just doesn't stand up to the cooking here. Thai Boat noodles are my favorite thing on the menu!

Beautiful small hole in the wall right next to the university. The broth for the ordered noodles was seasoned perfectly. We were immediately greeted when we came to the door and the food was ordered with 10 minutes. The waitress was very hesitant and would constantly check in to ensure that we were satisfied with our courts. I would highly recommend this place and definitely return.
