Starry Plough Pub - Berkeley

One of the best bars I was, the owners are super nice and friendly. You have great drinks and food with very fair prices. Our bartender was delicious and welcoming. Can't wait to come back.

This is the only real “Pub” in the Bay Area and a cultural icon in Berkeley. So much dissident story here... with great food and always great entertainment.

Tried their fish and chips, a few of their burgers; (Mushroom Swiss, bacon and blue cheese) the food is great, beers they serve, include both Guinness, and at least one Irish red; the atmosphere is comforting Irish-American, and it is a short ride from the beautiful Berkeley Marina, and several hotels, nearby, and in Emeryville; they even let me play harp there, 2020 Thanks. Starry Plough!

Definitely one of the best bars I've ever been. You have great music, food and the owners and the staff are dinner nice and friendly. Will definitely go back. I'm glad I found this place.

By far the best bar around for anyone with a love for art and music. Open Mic on Tuesday nights, Poetry Slam on Wednesday nights, and an awesome Irish Jam welcome to everyone who plays an instrument on Sunday nights.
