Paisan - Berkeley

Great place. Food is delicious and service is also good.

Good place for dinner, but little underwhelmed overall. The ambience is decent, and the best part is mellow music that doesn't drown your voice. However, in terms of food and the whole package, we were left wanting for more... We ordered some wine, baked pasta, heirloom tomato pasta and tiramisu. The pasta was delicious! ...but, a very small portion. And tiramisu was very generic.

Good atmosphere. The ribs were good and so was the bacon pizza.

Paisan is great for 2 reasons: the food (obviously) and their covered patio in the back. It is massive and practically indoors but still technically a tented space which means you can bring your dog even if it’s rainy and eat while covered and warm!

Great ambiance and very friendly staff. Started with a Cesar Salad and Cheese Curds (both yum) and ordered salmon with couscous and summer pizza at the bar where we watched the Olympics. Salmon was deliciously cooked the couscous had a delectable light flavor to it. Pizza crust was cooked perfectly crisp and toppings were light and flavorful. Will definitely return, especially to try the desserts
