Lox Stock Bagel - Berkeley

Clean, large place, and empty when I went on a weekday afternoon. Great location and higher quality bagels than a lot of places around here!

When I lived in Berkeley I'd go here every morning on my walk to the BART. It's been years now since I last went but I still think about how much I miss this place daily.

This place is STILL how I remember it back from my BHS days. Food still tastes the same, same good quality!. And just as I was coming in from my trip from Sacramento, they just finished cleaning the restrooms, which is always a good sign. This is my first stop 'go-to ' whenever I touchdown back in the bay.... And this is over a 10yr period!

I came here pretty much every day of my senior year at Berkeley High. I would literally run here during passing period to get an egg sausage and cheese English muffin sando or a sausage breakfast burrito. With the Cholula hot sauce packets they have...mmm. Super tasty and inexpensive (better hot savory breakfast options than K's around the block). Superb Rally Day fuel.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and the staff was wonderful.
