Gio’s checked during the soft opening. really cooler place! it was fun to taste the trout and amari cocktails, and the pizza was also super good. perfect location and great mood. I'm back to the final!

Delicious drinks and awesome Pizza, killer combo. The place is drastically transformed from the old dated Giovanni's into a fun and social ambiance.

Great service and tasty food. There is a very innovative mixologist who can make yummy cocktails with or without alcohol.

I like the atmosphere of this place very much. I sat in the back. the tables are not crumbled together, one on top. they can immediately say that they think something and put a distance into the layout that creates a very good refreshing feeling. it is not claustrophobic at all. another thing that I really liked was that they give them a carafe with water and a real little water drink glass against these huge oversized pint glasses most restaurants give them just so that they don't have so much for refilling. I thought that was a nice note and perfectly combined with the spatial feeling that the restaurant has. I had the pizza and cola. they were excellent! it was so good, I didn't wait for it to cool down and burn the dach of my mouth. I will be back as I found gio’s pizza and bocce to offer a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in combination with good food and a friendly staff.

They had me come and perform some acoustic music for a packed happy hour and sent me home with delicious food. The management and staff were super nice and overall the place has a great vibe.
