Foster's Old Fashioned Freeze

My husband got food poisoning and the Marmeladeburger was the last thing he had eaten that would have been sick to him. He was out of operation for 3 days and had to miss work. I love this place usually the dipped cones are my classic favorite, but never sure, the actual food only desserts. I'm staying at dessert from now on. It won't be back for a while.

I've only visited this restaurant twice. The first time, the ice cream was deliciously creamy, but the second time, it was icy and not the texture I was expecting. My family has been enjoying Foster Freeze's ice cream for over 50 years, so we have high standards. Overall, I would still recommend trying their ice cream. The location has a convenient parking lot, and the staff is friendly. However, I found the serving sizes to be smaller than anticipated. We ordered hot fudge sundaes, and the ice cream to fudge ratio was off—there was a small portion of ice cream with hardly any hot fudge, which made it difficult to enjoy the fudge in every bite. I ended up with half of the ice cream untouched, without any fudge on it.

The first time I visited, I enjoyed a soft serve ice cream that was delightful. However, during my second visit, I ordered a burger and a side of Fritten. Unfortunately, the bacon on the burger was spoiled, so I had to throw it away.

À la recherche de temps perdu...reliving my childhood. So happy they're still open after all these years. Love the vanilla ice cream cone with chocolate dip. The fish sandwich is better than Macdonald's. Hamburger satisfactory too. Enjoyed seeing happy regulars come go too. Flying under the radar grooviness.

I don't think the prices here make sense. We ordered two cheeseburgers and a shake, and the total was $33. The receipts aren't itemized, so we have no way to verify the cost of each item. The Dr. Pepper didn’t taste like Dr. Pepper at all. Additionally, there was an eyelash or some kind of hair found on my burger. Overall, I would recommend opting for another fast food restaurant instead.
