Brown's California Café - Berkeley

I visit Berkeley every time, and it's always one of the highlights of my day. The salads are flavorful and hearty, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly love the salad dressings. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. While the line can get quite long, they have a well-organized system that keeps things moving efficiently. I recommend arriving around 10 a.m. to save some time.

The breakfast sandwich is amazing! The portion of ice cream is generous as well. They have the most competitive "bring your own cup" stamp program out there!

Very nice workers, great place to come for a break. Coffee is good and food is also pretty good. If you bring your own cup, you will get 20 ¢ off

I like the mom and pop quality burger here; you can taste and see the freshness quality of the grass-fed beef patties. This place is a little on the pricey side, but i guess that is the cost for healthy and sustainable food choices. They got vegetarians and vegans choices here too. Even better, Pete's coffee is also in the house. Outdoor seating is available for a nice sunny day meal. Free regular and sparkling water fill up for your bottle if you need it. Students often study here even though it is usually noisy. There often a line during regular school session lunch hours

Good sweet potato fries, and Peets for some fast coffee. Free water/carbonated water. Plenty of outdoor seating since indoor seating often fills up fast. Their entrees are alright; albeit a little pricey. They take meal points!
