Amazing food. Injera is great. I tried their honey wine which was very sweet but delicious.

So good! I’ve been to a few Ethiopian locations in Oakland and Berkeley and all are delicious but I loved the service and atmosphere here along with the flavorful and filling meal. Splitting the combination plate between two hungry people was not only plenty of food, but a wonderful about of variety. We had leftovers and they tasted great the following days too. Loved this place and I’ll be back! ???

The worst injera I ever had! The quality of the food has declined, and the prices have increased while the portion sizes have decreased. Don't be fooled by the 4-star reviews, as they are from the previous owners.

This is such an outstanding restaurant — the food is delicious (such spongy, perfect injera) and the staff are lovely. We celebrated a birthday here yesterday evening and they very kindly stored a dessert for us beforehand. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!!
