Shanti offer fantastic value for money. Their food from currys/stews/falafal/beanburgers/cakes are fabulous vegan and veggie grub!! A meat eater would be happy to eat here and not think they were 'missing ' out by not having meat on their plates!! Simply fantastic food/venue/atmosphere can 't recommend highly enough!!!

Great choice of food, specials and tea! Friendly staff and comprehensive menu. Small cafe but plenty of seating available. Delicious sweet potato fries and the Shanti burger was tasty. Colourful decoration and calm atmosphere with plenty to look at! Will have to come back and try something different as there was too much choice!

Yesterday evening my friend and I dined at Cafe Shanti. I have eaten here before (surprisingly, this was only my second visit) but it was the first time for my friend. Even though the place is small it's not closed and suffocating but provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't have much time as we were due to go to the theatre (I got my timings wrong) but the service was quick so we had enough time for our mains. There's plenty of choice from light bites to main meals. The food is very reasonable and the portions are generous. The staff were warm and friendly. Unfortunately due to time pressures we didn't have time for any desserts meaning I'll be paying another visit soon! With the place being quite small you do leave smelling like a kitchen but this doesn't affect or take away from your dining experience. I highly recommend Cafe Shanti and will definately be returning!!

Such a lovely place, I'm a meat eater myself but love coming here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere so relaxing and the staff is lovely, wouldn't mind paying twice as much! Just such an amazing place :
