Gold Town Sushi Korean Bbq

We began with the calamari appetizer. While I found it enjoyable, I noticed they used the thicker, tougher tentacle sections instead of the more tender 'body' parts that resemble onion rings. The spicy stir-fried squid had good flavors, although it was a bit chewy. The fried rice was excellent, and the portion size was generous, reflecting the slightly higher price. The bento box offered a nice variety and was large, but the sushi itself left something to be desired. Although sushi is in the restaurant's name, I would recommend opting for the Korean BBQ and other dishes, leaving the sushi for a dedicated Japanese restaurant.

Gold Town boasts an extensive menu that features explosive dishes—ones that may challenge your stomach and leave you reaching for the skies in desperation. Yet, you'll eagerly indulge in every bite filled with spicy tuna and Japanese spicy mayo, as they are simply outstanding and worth every moment of discomfort that follows.

Tasty food, AWESOME service. We went during dinner which is not nearly as busy but still steady. The food was good, especially the bulgogi and egg rolls. I would definitely recommend the bulgogi for a first visit. The egg rolls were on the house and the owner/sushi chef was so nice. He helped us order and showed us how to eat the hot pot dish we ordered. The rest of the staff was awesome too, checking on us and just being very friendly. <br/ <br/ I am hoping to try a few more dishes but I would definitely recommend going during dinner to get the amazing service experience.
