My kids and I had never tried Korean food before, and our server was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu. In the end, we loved our choices! It was a wonderful experience trying something different and new, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Eating here was truly the highlight of my day. the best food i have had in a long time. we got our food way quicker than i expected, and it was incredible. it was a little bit pricey, but for the food we got it was more than worth it and i woulddefinitely do it again. i cannot believe i didn't know about this place sooner.
**Service: 5/5** The staff member I interacted with offered some excellent recommendations, though I didn't really need them. **Texture: 5/5** The crunch was absolutely delightful. The crust can hold its own against some I've tried in New York City and Vancouver, and I honestly found it to be better than popular chains like Pelicana and Ne Ne. Although one of my wings was the greasiest I've ever encountered. **Size: 4.5/5** Other reviews mentioned the size, and I agree. While the portions are filling, KFC wings are a bit smaller compared to what I expected. Usually, I can only eat 5-6 wings, but I managed to stop at 8 this time without feeling overly stuffed. **Glaze: 4.5/5** I tried the soy and spicy soy glazes. The spicy one was superior, although both flavors are quite mild. They felt more like a single note of flavor rather than the complex layers I've enjoyed elsewhere. This makes sense given the local demographic, and I appreciate that the wings weren't drowning in sauce. **Price: 5/5** At $15 for 10 wings, I found the price to be very reasonable. I didn't inquire, but pickled daikon would have been a nice touch.
This charming little local spot offers authentic Korean comfort food. I tried the Korean fried chicken, mandu, tteokbokki, and pajeon, and everything was delicious. The service was quite swift as well.
Service was good. This is a more Americanized restaurant. I give it a 3 because the Korean fried chicken is supposed to be traditional fried chicken which is usually large juicy bone in chicken wings thighs. This was pretty much just breaded chickenbreast for $9 for 5 pieces. Disappointed to say the least.
