Dialo's Cafe - Benton Harbor

Food was fantastic. Friendly atmosphere. I had pork chops and chicken with gravy the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. Sides were mashed potatoes, spaghetti and string beans. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

The service was great and the ladie who handled my food was very sweet. The food was just okay. I went with some chicken and greens. The chicken was the best thing I had. The greens I tossed out because they tasted and looked like they had pork in them. I was really disappointed in the peach cobbler that was the main reason I stopped by.

I got the rib tip dinner with candied yams and mac and cheese, and it was incredible. I was just in Benton Harbor on the way to run an errand, and it's an absolute shame that I won't be able to order from here regularly. Put this place up against Green Street Smoked Meats in Chicago, and these rib tips win. Hands down. I feel like anyone not giving this place five stars has been ruined by years of having such delicious food; does that make sense? Do yourself a favor; stop by and get some food here. Parking: Most spots are behind the restaurant.

Was in the mood for some different for dinner and this was perfect southern comfort food. The dressing, yams, greens out of this world. Wish they didn’t forget the peach cobbler but next time is a must try.

Chef dialo is the soul man that puts soul in his food. Let me tell you his food will put life back into you!!! All the food on the menu is to die for.
