I ordered a bourbon combo but received a junior bacon instead. Also, the fries were cold. I asked for Dr. Pepper and got Coke instead. When I called to address the mix-up, the person on the other end insisted that I got what I ordered. Back when I worked in fast food, I made $7 an hour and was taught that the customer is always right. We would have just corrected the mistake. Come on, you can do better!
I was charged $359 for two meals that I could have easily served myself in the lobby. There was no effort to resolve the issue, and the hostess jokingly used inappropriate language that I could hear from across the room, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean.
Unfortunately, the first sandwich I received still had mayonnaise, despite our earlier clarification. The second sandwich was incorrectly made as a crispy, breaded chicken with lettuce and tomato instead of grilled. After two failed attempts, we decided to give up. While we were understandably frustrated, the young woman claiming to be the manager was unhelpful; she accused us of yelling at the cashier, which was not the case. She was very unprofessional, lacking proper customer service skills, and claimed that since the cashier was a minor, he wouldn’t need to tolerate an “abusive” customer. We did not use any foul language; we simply wanted to address the mistakes in our order. We ended up waiting around 30 minutes for our two attempts at getting the sandwich. In the end, we did receive a refund. During my visit, I also noticed some concerning practices. There were people in the food preparation area who seemed to be contractors or maintenance workers, eating and waiting for their food. Shouldn’t they be in the customer area instead, especially considering they were wearing dirty work clothes? I also observed employees wearing flip-flops and not washing their hands after touching their faces or hair. The restaurant itself was not clean—there was dried ketchup on the pump dispensers, the drink station was sticky with spilled soda, and there was dirt and trash on the floor. The chairs and tables were not cleaned, and the trash bins were overflowing. It was not particularly busy during the time we spent there, so I was surprised to see the place in such disarray.
I can only give this place one star because there wasn't an option for zero. It was terrible. The bathrooms were disgusting, and the servers were unfriendly and seemed untrained. They opened ten minutes late, and there was an unpleasant odor as soon as we walked in. We decided not to order food because we were too apprehensive. I would never eat here; it was just too dirty.
