Afc Sushi - Bennington

Good place to have sushi and sashimi, in of all places Bennington, VT. We always try to visit this place. It isn’t pretentious and what you get is great. I’m not an expert in either sushi or sashimi, but I like It tonite mackerel, flying fish roe and smoked salmon sushi and they were all delicious.

While visiting my son, daughter 10 year old grandson in Bennington, we decided Hibachi would be the perfect choice for the four of us and my grandson's no-meat friend. And we were right! The most unexpected part was the really fresh delicious Angry Dragon Roll sushi appetizer, while the hibachi menu offered a variety of choices so we could enjoy steak chicken and my grandson's friend could have shrimp. Our table chef did all the regular hibachi tricks which entertained the 10 year olds while the adults could talk and enjoy grown-up beverages. All in all a great dining experience which satisfied the appetites of young old with a variety of dining needs.

I had sushi and lettuce wraps and noodles. Very good. I got carryout. The restaurant is small but very quaint.

We're in Bennington during Covid-19 so we had to get our food to go, but everything we ordered was delicious...pad Thai, sushi, and Yaki udon with a side of edamame and house salad (great dressing! . Even our kids loved it. The fried rice was too spicy for them but we devoured it. Would go again.
