This place has been here forever. it is a facility operated by the same family generation after generation. they often have to wait for a room to settle before they can sit in picnic type tables. the food is worth it....The food is cooked in large barro (clay) traditional Mexican pots. the prices are amazing for the quality of food and food they receive. I've been there since I was a little girl and my parents would take me there. I'm 45 years old now and live in Texas, but every time we visit Mexico City, we never miss eating at this place!

If you want to have a very mexican and homely breakfast in Mexico City. this is the best place. this opens only from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. they have to arrive very early, they risk some of the courts are not on camp. each dish has a special taste and has it own magic.

Este restaurante es un clásico en la Ciudad de México para desayunar como en los tiempos pasados. Con mesas compartidas y un horario poco común de 5:30 a 11:30 am, es parte del encanto del lugar. Te recomiendo probar los platillos sencillos, como los huevos con frijoles refritos, el bistec con pasilla los domingos, el cerdo con verdolagas los martes, el chicharrón con salsa verde y las tortitas de carne los viernes. También ofrecen jugo de naranja fresco, café de olla y Mundet rojo para un toque nostálgico. Como parte de su ambiente peculiar, desde hace años hay dos músicos que tocan canciones de trío muy populares.
