This is a beautiful little restaurant in the courtyard of the Casa del Cultura which is a small community centerThey teach dance , exercise etc and have concerts at various timesThe restaurant is in a palapa hut -its neat and clean and you eat at tables in the courtyard or i guess take outExcellent food - more than pleasant serviceThe casa del cultura is just past the OXO convenience store - by the road to the highway - on the far side further away from the sea

In the courtyard of the local Casa del Cultura is a grassed roof Palapa with a beautiful small restaurant where the woman will make you excellent small meals or just coffeeYou can sit in the courtyard and quietly have your meal or coffeeI had perhaps the best quesadilla of the trip They also nice breakfasts of eggs as well as fruit plates The staff and cook mainly speak Spanish although that did not appear to be an issue The cook is most friendly The Palapa is on the left side of the area The Casa del Cultura is the local Puerto Morelos community center on ave de la ninos or what might be called the second street just off the road to the highway just past that OXO storeThere are two buildings - a smaller one along the road - and a larger one off the road behind the fence area There is a door to walk throughHours seem to be generally during the day although they may be open during the major events that are held at the center - dance , music concerts and the like

I had a very nice breakfast of what the cook called "Mexican Eggs" along with a green colored "Smoothie" toast and coffee This restaurante is in the courtyard of the local Puerto Morelos cultural center - where people practice dance , Yoga in a community...More

This is a hidden gem in Puerto Morelos in the courtyard of the Casa del CulturaIt is essentially a kitchen in a palapa run by a spanish speaking mexican woman who makes among the best short order meals in puerto moreloscoffee , quisadellas , tacos etc which are among the best i have ever had in puerto morelos and coloniaEnglish is not spoken - yet by the name of the dish or by pointing you will do just fineHighly recommendedThe owner - cook - is most friendly , smiling and accomodating
