Spirit Mountain

We had a fantastic time riding horses up the mountain. Our hosts were excellent. We would love to stay in the house on the mountain some day.

Great place and people! Great coffee. Great place to visit and stay for the night in a tent or rent a wooden tree house. Totally UNIQUE!

If you’re anywhere near this place or looking for an excuse to explore the region, Spirit Mountain is a must do. Just follow Google Maps navigation and check in with Rosa at the house with the picnic tables. We took a great walking tour with Julio and learned about the different varieties of coffee being grown, and the stages of processing etc. We then drove up to just before the Camp area and parked and hiked to the waterfall. We did the hike in about an hour and a half in, and an hour or so out with our 2 and 9 year olds. It’s fairly steep in certain sections. Make sure you bring plenty of water and some snacks if you plan on staying at the falls for a bit. It’s absolutely worth the hike. I won’t spoil the falls with a picture but I promise, it’s impressive. We were invited to try some coffee on the way out but our little one had already fallen asleep so we skipped it this time! We will def come back again.

Thanks to my work I went to this place and I loved it. Hope to come back soon because God was super close.

Beautiful place, a good place to ride your mountain bike, to scape from all the noise of the city, to walk under the stars and play your ukulele, i like the chilly weather, theres a little river and it has a fall, very special place
