Cafe Essence - Bendigo

We enjoyed some incredibly delicious pancakes that were made to order. They were fluffy and fresh. The coffee was smooth and creamy. The staff was super friendly and polite, and the owners were lovely and knowledgeable about fresh food. We returned in the afternoon to get some take-away cakes from the impressive display they had. Each cake was only $2.50 and tasted yum! We can't wait to visit again when we're back in town.

Booked in for high tea on my little weekend getaway to celebrate the king of rock roll. The sandwiches week delicious, the sweets delicious but the service was superb. I encourage all to come support this little local business. Thank you again for making my time so special

They didn't get told by a 3rd party that we had booked...but they didn't hesitate to make us welcome to stay. Excellent service and great food.

I went to lunch with a colleague at this restaurant. The venue is tastefully decorated and clean, with a diverse menu offered at reasonable prices. There is ample seating available. The food was presented beautifully (compliments to the chef). The older gentleman who greeted us could have shown a bit more enthusiasm. Overall, I would give this restaurant 4 stars.
