Penn Werner - Bendersville

This is a beautiful place to live, and the owner of the building is a wonderful woman.

The restaurant is a nice place with great service. Most of the rooms are currently under renovation, but the corridors are easy to navigate. They will be opening a café in the next few days where you can enjoy some chocolate or coffee with bread, and they'll also have sandwiches available. Exciting times ahead!

Significantly improved, now no longer open year-round. Alas! This former hotel dive bar has undergone some re-gentrification recently. The back dining room offers decent meals, while the bar area has a different vibe. I'm uncertain about the colorful characters residing upstairs, as I haven't spent enough time to conduct a thorough anthropological study. I’ll update you on that later, but the Penn Warner Inn is definitely worth a visit… located in Wernersville. Although several other establishments have appeared over the last 150 years, this place still holds its own.

Enjoyed some smoked chicken and baked potatoes from their BBQ Day on May 30th. DELICIOUS! Some of the best chicken I have ever had! Thank you!
